French Cafe Inspired Wedding Shoot

This sophisticated photo-shoot brought to us by j.woodbery photography is feminine without being overly girlish. The kind of shoot that invites a sense of gentle beauty and elegance. A sweet collaboration between very talented professionals. The Westchester Wedding Planner, vintage chinaOur inspiration for this shoot was a mixture of many things- French cafe, emerald, black and white stripes, and gold glitter. We had a stunning model wearing a vintage dress that could be worn as a wedding dress, rehearsal dinner dress, or bridesmaid dress. The vendors were incredible, and some included their personal inspiration.

From Ann Marie Leveille, owner of Tres Beau Weddings and Events: “To keep a French-inspired, luxe palate from becoming overly-feminine, we used pops of bold and modern black and white stripes. Antique china was paired with sleek flatware that had been hand-dipped in gold paint and glitter. Imported French sparkling lemonade was served with whimsical striped straws in champagne glasses.”

From Jackie Robinson, owner of Rawwbeauty Makeup Artistry: “I chose emeralds and golds to accent the colors that Anne Marie chose. Plus, emerald is the Pantone Color of the Year for 2013 which I wanted to incorporate. I found it fitting to add a pop of color against the blush color of the dress.”

From Tammy Howell, our hair stylist from Rawwbeauty for the shoot: “My inspiration for the hair came from the dress. It had a very romantic and vintage feel to it that I wanted to reflect in the hair. It called to mind pictures of my grandmother from the late 50’s and early 60’s. I wanted to try to recreate a style she would have worn. I combined two of her favorite styles, the French twist, and chignon, to come up with this unique design.”The Westchester Wedding Planner,_1041The Westchester Wedding Planner,_1040The Westchester Wedding Planner,_1043The Westchester Wedding Planner,_1045The Westchester Wedding Planner,_1042The Westchester Wedding Planner,_1046The Westchester Wedding Planner,_1050The Westchester Wedding Planner,_1047The Westchester Wedding Planner,_1048The Westchester Wedding Planner,_1056The Westchester Wedding Planner,_1049The Westchester Wedding Planner,_1051The Westchester Wedding Planner,_1052The Westchester Wedding Planner,_1053The Westchester Wedding Planner,_1055The Westchester Wedding Planner,_1054Photographer: j.woodbery photography | Event Venue: Bridgestreet Gallery and Loft | Makeup Artist: Rawwbeauty Makeup Artistry | Floral Designer: Studio Flower | Event Planner: Tres Beau Weddings and Special Events | Invitation: Etsy shop Dallin’s Paperie | Dress: Etsy shop Gidgette Bardot
