Intimate Boho Beach Elopement
This pretty boho beach wedding was exactly what the bride envisioned for the special day. From her casual dress to her headpiece to the dried flowers and sweetheart table we love how it all worked so beautifully.

Maggie & Richard
From the Bride: It was a last minute decision for us to get married in June, but I just kept picturing that sunset wedding on the beach. I was going for the bohemian feel with my dress and headpiece. The dried flowers were a must for me; I knew I wanted them from the get go. Above all, I wanted it to be casual, but still beautiful. The beach was incredible that evening with a perfect sunset! I couldn’t have been better!
From the Photographer: Maggie and Richard met in 2009 at Seneca Hills Bible Camp. This is also where they fell for each other… the first time. In 2010, they shared their first kiss in the camp chapel, scandalous right?!? Even though they didn’t stay together after that summer, they remained great friends over the years. Some say Richard had been in love with Maggie since they dated as kids, and he won’t deny that. Maggie decided to visit Richard in Germany at the end of 2014. She claims they were no more than friends, but her family was skeptical!
Without surprise to her family, Maggie came back from Germany with feelings for Richard! They dated long distance for the next year and while she was planning to surprise Richard with a visit to Germany last Christmas he was planning a romantic proposal in a German castle! Richard is in the U.S. Air Force and his family lives in Thailand, so planning a big traditional wedding wasn’t really in the cards for this couple.? They planned a small intimate coastal wedding the same week Maggie’s family was on vacation at Sandbridge, Virginia. The dried florals were purchased in bulk, in Pittsburgh, PA, where the bride is from, and put together by the bride’s sister. The sweetheart table was also designed and styled by the bride’s sister.
