Lay your eyes on this wedding captured by Arte De Vie and check out all the beautifully made touches everywhere you look. Using peacock feathers as inspiration, the blue-green color palette can be seen throughout. From the bridesmaids dresses to the cake and shoes, to the a handmade brooch bouquet, it’s all perfectly connected.
Chris & Lara
First, the venue itself was unique! The couple chose Rock-n-Bowl for their venue with a very New Orleans vibe. Some of the details included the ring box that Lara prettied, they made comic paper boutonnieres, the cufflinks were amazing, and they had a wooden beer mug for the guys were personalized. Another standout item was Lara’s bouquet — a handmade brooch bouquet that had sentimentality bestowed value because her brooches came from everywhere and everyone! It was simply stunning!!
Lara also made her dress hanger — which I would pay a fortune for on Etsy. And her high heel bowling shoes that she wore at the end of the reception were stunning. Some surprises included a live artist for the groom, and an acapella group that performed for the parent’s dances as a surprise to Lara’s father.
