Summer Wedding by Eric Vest Photography

I love it when brides love their wedding pros so much they want to brag about them. From her photographer, Eric Vest Photography, to her makeup artist, to her DJ and her event coordinator. We think it’s awesome. The greatest compliment you can give a wedding professional is a referral.
A quick summary of our story: Max trained me in as a server at a job that I had in my last year of college. I was seeing someone else at the time. When we were introduced, and our manager told him to “be careful because she has a boyfriend,” Max was quick to respond that he could “change that.” PSH! I thought he was a complete dork. Long story short, he did change that, and we started dating about a year later (after I had broken it off with my boyfriend, of course). The rest is history.

Bride’s Planning Experience/Vendors: I am a Type-A personality, and I like everything in order. Many people had commented about how relaxed I was during the wedding planning process. A lot of our vendors, we found through The Knot, and I took in a lot of the information that previous brides had written in the reviews. Our photographer, Eric Vest Photography, and my hair/makeup artist, Hayley Sachs Artistry were both complete shots in the dark. We were incredibly blessed that each of these individuals were so personable. The minute we connected with Eric, he exuded energy and passion about photography, and even better, he was super easy-going and easy to get along with. Hayley was flexible and has an amazing eye for hair and makeup. She was able to take all of my ideas that I found on Pinterest and compile them into a look that I loved on my wedding day! Our DJ, Greg Heintz, was recommended to us by a cousin of mine, and he was phenomenal. He was relaxed and consistently checked with us throughout the night to make sure we were getting everything we wanted. Seeing as people were on the dance floor until last call, I think he did a great job! The staff at Dellwood Country Club were accommodating and willing to do whatever it took to make sure that our wedding went off without a hitch. Tracy McCarthy, the wedding coordinator at Dellwood, personally delivered water to our guests as they were waiting for the ceremony to start. The Dellwood Staff made us feel as though we were more than just another wedding! The food was also phenomenal. We had many comments about how the guests thought that it was the best wedding food that they had ever had.
