In Ben Elsass’ (Photographer) words : If you’re reading this somewhere cold this morning, hopefully looking through Rachael and Bryan’s incredible destination wedding in Aruba will help warm you up. Or maybe you’re planning your wedding right now and contemplating a destination wedding!?Hopefully these images will help sway you! It seemed such a short time ago I was shooting their engagement session in Chicago and hearing about all of their plans for their Aruba wedding in December. Then you blink and you’re on a private beach with flamingos and shooting their wedding! Crazy how time flies.

A few of my favorite things from Rachael & Bryan’s Aruban wedding (aside from the fact it was in Aruba!)

– Rachael’s Yolan Cris wedding dress was absolutely stunning

– The Renaissance Hotel in Aruba is one of the best resorts I’ve been to in the Caribbean. Their staff and their amenities were incredible. Not to mention that their setting for weddings is on their own private island, Renaissance Island.

-I can’t say I’ve ever shot (or ever will again) a wedding with wild flamingos walking around behind the bride and groom…wild…flamingos…
