Romantic Summer Blush by Pink Sky Photography

Happy weekend my lovelies. I wanted to begin this week with a really sweet summer styled shoot. I love all the seasons, each one has its charm, but summer never fails to be the most inspiring for me. Take this pretty session for example. The couple’s wedding day was a beautiful day full of wonder, love and snow. So, to give the bride something bright and warm, Taelor, styled this romantic blush day just for her. The Westchester Wedding Planner,_8321Taelor, of Pink Sky Photography, shared her inspiration for this photo shoot: The inspiration for this session started with the beautiful blush wedding dress. We wanted to showcase this dress and keep with a blush and romantic theme. The idea of using a location with gorgeous pink blossoms came quick to mind, and I happened to know of just the place. The bride and groom (Sarah & Derek), are such a loving, romantic couple, and we wanted to capture that connection between them.

Sparrow Beaute is a traveling hair and makeup team. Kayla and Shannon have worked together for several years and do the most fantastic job. They are fun, creative and dedicated to what they do. Working with them on this session was an absolute pleasure, and I can not wait to work with them again. In this session, they made all the decisions regarding how the hair and makeup should go for each girl.

Corinthia Flowers is located in Leduc, 15 minutes south of Edmonton. I have worked with them time and time again. Their bouquets are always stunning and last longer than any other floral shop that I have worked with. They are sweet and helpful to anyone who walks in. I will always use Corinthia Flowers for any event or occasion. For this session, I explained how it was going to look and the theme we were going with to Adele at Corinthia Flowers. She was able to take the small amount of details given and put together the most amazing bouquets that fit perfectly into the session.

The cake, made Chantal Jollimore, a very talented mom. The idea for the cake was to have leaves and one big flower. With that information, Chantal made a three tiered cake with fondant icing. The cake was perfect for the setting and theme of the session.
