Snuggly Winter Engagement
While a winter engagement session may not be for everyone, brrr, I love the look of freshly fallen snow in the country as the backdrop for photographs. Photographed by Nicole Amanda, this snow filled e-sesh is warm and cozy complete with hot cocoa, a big blank for two and lots of LOVE!
Genny & Doug
Our first date was at the Hard Rock Cafe restaurant. That was awesome but we were both VERY nervous! I was so happy, though. After a quick dinner, we saw the only movie playing at the downtown theatre, Kung Fu Panda 2. We were the only ones in the theatre. Our date was wonderful, and we each had a very good time but thought the other didn’t.
Very quickly! I can’t think of a particular moment, but it just happened! I wasn’t ready to tell him I loved him right away, even though I felt it, so I kept finding myself saying ridiculous things like “I love your kisses”. I knew he was the one, even though it might have been subconscious.
The proposal was a lovely surprise! Doug did it at my family farm where we did our engagement photos. He made a beautiful light-up sign that said “will you marry me”, had me stand on an X and uncovered the sign. He then got down on one knee and asked me.
