Happy Friday my lovelies! Let’s begin the first weekend of 2015 with an intimate and romantic destination wedding in the land of medieval hilltop towns, vast historic landscapes and of course, wine. Tuscany. This sweet couple celebrated their “I Dos” in this centuries old open roof Abbey located near Siena. Enjoy!
From the photographer: A romantic wedding tt the famous roofless Abbey of San Galgano, it was selected by this Canadian couple to solemnize their civil wedding. In fact the Abbey is not a catholic or religious location. It is used for civil wedding ceremonies. Because the is originally  Greek an Orthodox crowning ceremony was incorporated in to the civil ceremony.

Artichokes as place holders and cabbage in the bouquets were incorporated into the decor and design for their personal meaning to the couple and their friends. The tables were decorated in a simple country style.
