Many brides spend an inordinate amount of time worrying about having an even number of bridesmaids and groomsmen. If you have chosen four of your best girlfriends as bridesmaids, your fiancé may feel pressured to come up with the same number of groomsmen.
The good news is that the rules of modern wedding etiquette mean that it is no longer necessary for brides and grooms to have the same number of bridesmaids and groomsmen. So if you have three great friends picked out as bridesmaids and he has four groomsmen you do not have to worry about it. The most important thing is to choose your closest friends and loved ones for this important honor.
