A Boho Chic and Stylish DIY Wedding
I love the juxtaposition of this boho chic and stylish couple against this grand old abandoned church. Despite the very cold temperatures, this couple and their wedding party were able to accomplish what they set out to do and celebrated a day of love, family and friends. From the photographer: John and Taylor got married on a blustery winter day so we found a beautiful abandoned church to take photos in, and that church collapsed 2 months later and is no longer there! It was so cold that they had to hold their breath for most shots so that I could clearly see their faces. We stopped in at one of their favorite local coffee shops to warm up before finishing up their portraits in a snow-covered field.
The ceremony and reception took place that evening at The Realm, a church space in St. Peters, MO. The ceremony was incredibly prayerful and worshipful. Their faith was the central theme of the night. John and Taylor had a very small budget but they managed, with lots of help from family and friends, to DIY everything! Their celebration was beautiful and reflected who they are.
