Rustic Chic Wedding
Happy Friday! Before you head off into this long Memorial Day weekend, we have an intimate and oh so romantic Real Wedding to share with you all. Although this is not a “Westchester” wedding, it is a beautiful rustic chic wedding full of so much sweetness and LOVE. We are slightly obsessed with the mustard color and all the DIY created by the bride, groom, family and friends. This is truly a celebration of love. Enjoy and have a Happy Weekend!!!

Our perfect wedding vision was a Rustic Country Vintage wedding. We wanted country intermixed with a vintage vibe. We both share a passion for treasures from the past as well as come from strong country roots and we wanted our wedding to showcase both qualities.
What are three unique details that you infused into your decor?

Antique Potato Sacks (used as hanging display), Chicken Feeder (used as candle holder), Antique Gain Scoops (used for holding cigars on Cigar Bar)
What was your most memorable moment?
Sitting at dinner overlooking the crowd & taking in that everyone was celebrating us. Such a humbling moment to have all the most important people to us, who have shaped our lives sitting in the same space. Never again will all these people be together.

What song did you do your first dance to?
“Shut up & Dance” By Aaron Watson
What was on your menu?
Appetizers: Stuffed Mushrooms, Beef Skewers, Coconut Chicken
Dinner: Pulled Roast Beef, Chicken Marsalla, Sweet Corn, Mashed Potatoes, Creamy Pasta Salad, Caesar Salad, Homemade Rolls
Dessert:Homemade entirely by Luke’s mom (Groom)

What – if anything – did you DIY?
EVERYTHING…A true DIY wedding. We spent hours searching thrift stores, estate sales, & scouring Luke’s parent’s barns in lieu of treasures to use at our wedding. In these searches we came across many mason jars, a gorgeous yellow couch, vintage plates, whisky barrels, potato sacks, old crates, window frames, old barn wood, & so many more random old items. With the help of our family & friends we were able to create the perfect wedding day for us. All the pinterest ideas truly came to life thanks to our wonderful family & friends! We could not have done it without them.
-All wooden signs
-Chalkboard signs
-Ribbon & twine displays
-Name Cards for seating
-Smore’s favors
-Floral centerpieces & floral decor (put together by bride & family
-Desserts (Luke’s mom made ALL)

Why did you choose the venue that you did?
We wanted an amazing setting for a Country Chic wedding. The landscape & views were incredible at Hilltop. We absolutely fell in love with the venue after seeing it. It is such a unique & gorgeous wedding location with truly passionate owners.

Anything else you would like to add?
Thank you to our amazing photographer (Bobbi) for capturing our day so perfectly. We love looking at the pictures and reliving our wedding day!!!
