Charming Plantation Wedding
There’s something magical about southern plantation weddings. I wonder if its the dripping spanish moss or maybe the vast open spaces. Whatever it happens to be it’s just the right amount of magic. Once again we have fallen in love with a beautiful bride and a handsome groom. From the Photographer: Jeff and Darby met in June 2012 through a Christian service group in Charleston, SC. Jeff went to hear a guest speaker and Darby was part of the leadership of the group. They met and were instantly attracted to each other. After a year and a half of dating, Jeff proposed to Darby on March 8, 2014 at Laurel Hill Plantation in Mt. Pleasant. Jeff also surprised Darby that night with an engagement dinner with all of their close family and friends. The engagement ring was Jeff’s maternal grandmother’s, which Darby had no idea he even had in his possession. Growing up in Charleston, Darby had dreamed of having her wedding at Boone Hall Plantation and her dream became reality.
