Destination DIY Wedding – Florida
I love destination weddings regardless of where exactly the destination is. It’s like going on a mini vacation and having an unforgettable party with your closest friends and family. This Florida destination wedding captured by Kristy and Vic Photography is a great example of an intimate mini vacay and celebration.Maria, the Bride, shared some thoughts with us. “I don’t know what brides before did without Pinterest and Etsy. Everything I wanted in my wedding was inspired by pictures I saw from the rustic theme to the bistro lights. I even found my wedding dress on Pinterest. It is a great source that will help you organize the smallest of details.” Having a destination wedding can be very stressful. Give your self extra time for different events happening through out the day and have a plan B for anything that could possibly go wrong. “My Wedding was honestly a dream come true the best thing one can do is grateful for every step of the process.” Also, hiring an event planner like Ekas Events to handle the majority of the planning and organizing minimizes the level of stress.
From the photographer: Pablo and Maria are such a wonderful couple that has a beautiful and amazing kind of love. They were high school sweethearts that drifted apart, then found each other again many years later and fell in love. Their love is so evident when they are together and their wedding day was so special. It was full of do-it-yourself details of mint and ivory. The backdrop of their beach ceremony and open-air reception was stunning!
