One detail we’ve been seeing more and more of is the unfrosted cake, a personal favorite. Drizzled with some powder sugar and decorated with fresh fruits and flowers, I say, let your cake go naked!

Another lovely detail here is the invitation suite. Simple yet classic. Choose a beautiful font and a sophisticated color combination to create a classic look without overdoing the embellishment.

An effortlessly gorgeous mix of flowers and greenery.From the photographer: Giselle Callahan of Vivid Events designed an ethereal spring wedding around the details and beauty of La Rio Mansion, a Spanish-style villa in Belton, Texas and the area’s newest wedding venue. Vivid Events decorated and designed the gorgeous details to highlight the Spanish villa style of La Rio, which is home to a very friendly donkey and sweeping Texas landscapes. The beautiful details inside and outside the venue were the inspiration for the shoot, including the flowering trees on the property and the massive oak tree, which is the perfect setting for a ceremony. The giant, hospitable porches in front and in the back of La Rio are expansive and beautiful enough for reception locations, and they were the inspiration for the beautiful tablescape. Rosetree Floral designed the lush centerpieces and florals, and Lily’s Cakes made the delicacies on the dessert table. Kimberly Cutler did the model’s makeup, and Nori Cruz is the hair designer. The gown is from Georgio’s Bridal in Waco. Vintage pieces are from Swoon Vintage Rental, and rentals are from Confetti Rentals. Studio W designed the elegant stationery.
