Fairytales Do Come True by Logan Walker Photography
Some weddings have a unique fairytale “je ne sais quoi” and this one, captured perfectly by Logan Walker, definitely has it. The venue, the bride, that gorgeous dress! It’s fairytale meet glamour.
Did you do a First Look before the ceremony? We didn’t do a first look right before the ceremony because I wanted him to have that moment of awe as I was going down the aisle. Since he had seen me in my dress a couple weeks before, I tried to keep that moment of going down the aisle special by waiting to see him until that time. Now that the wedding is over I loved how we did it! He appreciated my dress and my make-up even more seeing it for a second time.
Talk to me about the decor! I went very simple on deco because the restaurant is so gorgeous already. I had simple white table cloths on the tables with a large flower centerpiece on each. I also had 2 to 3 5×7 photographs placed on the tables of me and my husband. We had two 16×20 photos near the cake and the guest sign in table.
Where did you get the inspiration for your colors and design? I had an outfit that I loved and had the colors gray and yellow. I saw a bridal party photo online of gray suits and yellow dresses falling in love with that idea immediately. Because my favorite color is blue, I added navy blue as an accent color.
What wedding planning advice do you wish you had followed? I wish I had delegated more things to other people so that I didn’t have to do as much.
