It goes without saying that we are always excited to share work by Kyo Morishima Photography. This e-session in New York City is no exception. It’s colorful, it’s fun and it’s so adorable. Congratulations to the happy couple!From the photographer: When we set up Stephanie and Paul’s engagement session in Greenwich Village, they didn’t mention that they were going to bring a big, colorful bouquet of balloons to the shoot! It’s always fun for photographers when clients go that extra mile, when they approach their engagement session with such creativity and gusto. We had planned a one-hour session around Washington Square Park, but it was so much fun we kept shooting through the evening. Kyo, Stephanie, and Paul strolled over to West 4th Street and decided to grab an ice cream at Grom, which is THE BEST gelato in NYC.

How did you meet each other? We met while on vacation in Florida. We were introduced through a mutual friend. We kept running into each other over the next couple of days and started dating when we got back to NY.

How did you get engaged? Paul surprised me with a weekend trip to the Berkshires. After a few attempts to plan the trip finally all the stars aligned and we had an amazing weekend in Lenox, Mass.

What do you love most about each other? {from Stephanie} Paul’s an amazing guy; I admire so much about him – he’s very caring and reliable, such a hard worker, funny, outgoing, incredibly intelligent. He’s such a good person, and there is never a dull moment with him!

{from Paul} Steph is the total package. I love that she’s hardworking and driven but also loyal and caring. I love that she’s just as comfortable at a formal dinner or stuffy cocktail party as she is in a dive bar with friends. She’s beautiful, smart, funny and generous. She loves people, and people love her.
