This Old Hollywood Glam wedding at Reid Castle and Greentree Country Club is straight out of the movies. With an amazing lineup of crazy good vendors, (Dideo Films Photography, Meredith Hayman, Tu-Lus Bakery, Felex & The Cats Swing Band, just to name a few) it’s no wonder we are head over heels in love.

From photographer David and Danielle of Dideo Films Photography: A Jazz and Blues singer, Vanessa and her fiancé Joe contacted Dideo Films Photography with plans for a 1930s Hollywood inspired Wedding.  With the help of her mother, the upstairs of Vanessa’s family house was converted into a vintage Boudoir where she dressed and prepped for her walk down the aisle.  After saying no to the dress on TLC’s “Say Yes to the Dress”, Vanessa found a gorgeous couture, vintage style beaded wedding gown by Ysa Makino.  A graduate of Manhattanville College, Vanessa and Joe reserved Reid Castle – a Norman Gothic 18th century stone castle built on the campus –  for their post ceremony photos and cocktail hour. The two where married in the O’Byrne chapel next door. Sharing personal vows during the ceremony was very special for them.  Then Vanessa and Joe jumped into a chauffeur driven vintage car and headed to their party. For the reception, the largest ballroom at Greentree country club in New Rochelle, NY was transformed into a 1930s supper club. Backed by the swing band Felix and the Cats, Vanessa and Joe entered the reception to a choreographed dance routine that had their guests transfixed. As a special surprise for their guests, Vanessa and Joe hired the acrobatic Swing dance troupe Jumpin Entertainment owned by Paolo Pasta Lanna, who brought great energy and helped set the tone for the evening. Family and friends dined on catered cuisine, mingled and danced into the night.
