Outdoor Elegant Wedding by Bycherry Photography
Happy Sunday! You are going to love this wedding along a beautiful California coastline. Bycherry Photography did a fantastic job capturing the essence of what makes Cali so appealing to me. The incredible light, the breathtaking view, the table decor of crisp linens, delicate florals, lemons and succulents all feels fresh and organic. Right up my alley.
A note from the photographer: Laura and James were both born in Houston, Texas but didn’t meet until they both attended Pepperdine University School of Law in Malibu, California. James was a third-year student when he was assigned to be Laura’s mentor, and after about month they started to date. Four years later, the they booked the Bacara Resort and Spa in Goleta, California, for their classic, elegant wedding. The ceremony took place outdoors, with a beautiful backdrop of the ocean and a view of the coastline.
Laura and James shared their very first kiss as a married couple under the wooden arch, decorated with white fabric and ivory flowers. The reception dining tables were inside the ballroom space and outside on the patio, decorated in the beautiful color palette of white and green with accents of blush and gold. Laura’s love for lemonade was the inspiration for the bright yellow lemons around the flower centerpieces and cake. The couple had taken dance classes to perform their first dance in front of guests and fought tears of laughter as they stumbled their way through the routine. “It was a great memory and made for some of my favorite pictures,” says Laura.
