We just adore engagement sessions around here. This one sent to us by Sheri of Swanky Fine Art Weddings is simply heavenly. Teaming up with a rental company and a floral designer, Sheri created a whimsical outdoor dining experience where the sun kissed their cheeks, and the teasing spring breeze invites them to frolic. Photographer, Sheri, shared this with us: I had such a joy planning Ruxandra and Scott’s engagement session with them. From our first emails and hearing what she wanted to do for their session, I was all on board! Ruxandra explained in detail that she wanted a romantic dining experience, but not just any dining experience but an experience that was captured in the beautiful outdoors in Malibu. Uhh, sure! Don’t twist my arm! After we had decided on the romantic dining experience she began sending me inspiration of what she wanted her session to be like, I knew right then and there we needed to bring on some amazing vendors to help execute these ideas.

We brought on board Blaire from Sparkles and Vintage and Tami Lynn from Fabulously Designed Florals and Events to make Ruxandra and Scott’s vision come alive, and boy did they go above and beyond! The final look once it was all put together was just jaw dropping, the whole look of what Ruxandra and I spoken about for so long was finally in front of us, and everything was just pure perfection. Not to mention, the day we shot was just fantastic. Not a cloud in the sky, the sun kissed our faces with a sweet breeze that just made the day unforgettable.
