Traditional Wedding
We never get enough of perfect days like this one. A beautiful Fall day, blush and coral tones and just the right amount of tradition made Rachel and Ian’s wedding a day to remember.
From the Photographer: Ian and Rachel met at an apartment-organized barbeque in their homes in Atlanta, where he then asked her out on their first date. In March of 2013, Ian decided to pop the question. As part of an elaborate plan to take Rachel by surprise, Ian faked a knee injury while they worked out together. Then, he asked her to go with him to check out a garden for a student government event. While Rachel ran around talking about the space, Ian urged her to slow down, complaining his knee hurt. When Rachel stopped and turned around, Ian was down on one knee with a ring; the couple returned to the Boston area for their wedding that fall. Rachel and Ian’s Tupper Manor wedding took place on a beautiful afternoon in October and their ceremony combined both Jewish and Christian traditions. The reception was perfect, with delicious food, sweet toasts made by Rachel’s parents and grandparents along with the best man and maid of honor, and a fabulous dance party led by The Now and Forevers.
