Traditionally Elegant Wedding by Pepper Nix Photography
For every little girl that wishes to be a princess for her wedding, this wedding is proof that dreams do come true. For Tracee, finding that perfect dress, the one she’s dreamed of for as long as she can remember sealed her princess fate. Finding the inspiration for her wedding in her own closet, Tracee designed an elegantly traditional fete. I give kudos to this lovely bride for an amazing job. Congratulations on your nuptials, may you enjoy a lifetime of love and happiness together! From the Bride: Did you do a First Look before the ceremony? We did our first look with Pepper Nix at La Caille. He waited for me in the green room facing away from me! I went behind him and touched his shoulder, He asked Pepper if he could turn around now it was really cute. When he turned around it was pure magic. My heart was so full of butterflies when his mouth dropped, and he stepped back to look at me. It was a perfect moment. We just hugged, and he just keep looking at me in awe.
Where did you find the inspiration for your color palette and design? Let’s be honest, PINTEREST! I had the hardest time deciding on wedding colors… I initially wanted TIFFANY BLUE, but I started to look at what I regularly wear…. and that was navy, creams, and golds. I am not a huge fan of bright colors; I love the neutrals, and deep colors combined. We were going for a very elegant classical wedding, so my TIFFANY BLUE just didn’t fit in. I loved the way it turned out, the pops of navy blue and the soft accents of gold were just our. It fit us perfectly!
Three things you’re glad you did. 1. Hired Pepper as my photographer 2. My simple and elegant color scheme 3. Doing my own makeup and hair, I wanted to look like myself.
What was the best piece of wedding advice you got? Kennie was told if I burnt the toast to tell me that’s how he likes it! I hope he follows this advice!
Anything you wish you hadn’t worried about? I was really worried about not having a videographer, but after having Pepper I knew I would be just as happy if not more with all the pictures on my perfect day.
