Waveny House Wedding by Julia Jane Studios
If you are anything like me, you look forward to seeing certain details in every wedding. For me, it’s the dress, the bouquet, and the cake among a few others. And this wedding with it’s traditional and minimalistic style had those three touches that I just love. A gorgeous dress from Allure Bridal that fit the bride perfectly, a vintage, and delicate bouquet and for the cake? My favorite, a scrumptuous fruit tart. A bit different, no doubt, but absolutely delicious. It really is all about making your wedding day, yours.
Alex and Rebecca met while attending Yale Divinity School. They are both Youth Pastors at Greens Farms church where they were married. Needless to say, the church was overflowing with love and excitement for the two of them! Before heading over to Waveny House for their reception, the congregation held a mini reception on the lawn so that everyone whose lives they have touched could show their love. This is a very special couple to so many people. Thay have touched many lives with their unconditional love and faith.
After the mini church reception, we headed over to Waveny House for a sit-down dinner. The grounds of Waveny House are breathtaking with fields of golden wildflowers. We couldn’t resist the temptation of running out for some quiet time and portraits of this sweet couple.
