Whimsical Outdoor Sophistication by Lindley’s Photography

Just outside of Atlanta, Indigo Falls is the ultimate outdoor location and ideal for a small whimsical, rustic wedding. But, instead of boring you with pages of adjectives to describe this glorious day, I’ll spear you and allow you to enjoy it for yourself. The Westchester Wedding Planner,_6476From the bride: Tell us about finding THE dress. I was so very blessed to be accompanied by my mom, mother-in-law, sister (matron of honor), niece (flower girl), sister-in-law and her daughter, and two of my bridesmaids. We were a large group, but it was such an amazing day and special experience, with my family coming from out of state to share in it with me. We were at our second store for the day, I had just selected the first few dresses to try on when I saw this girl trying on this dress, my dress. It was not exactly what I was looking for but I could not stop eyeing this dress. Apparently, both my mom and mother-in-law were also eyeing the same dress that this girl was trying on as well, thinking that it was the dress for me. I finally asked my consultant if I could try the dress on after the other girl was done. There were no other dresses after I put that one on. I hadn’t gotten much of a reaction from anyone with any of the other dresses I had tried, but this one received gasps and very confident responses that this was “the dress.” While it wasn’t what i was looking for, it couldn’t have been more perfect for me. It reminded me of my great grandmother who meant the world to me, as did my ring when we found it, and after making that connection I was truly overcome with emotion and knew that I didn’t need to try any other dress.

Tell us about the photos. For me, the shots that were important were the family shots. Family is very important to the both of us. I also wanted to make sure that I was able to get some photos with my family/friends who traveled from CA to the wedding. It meant so much to me to have that representation at the wedding. It is so hard to choose a favorite picture. There is one of us at the ceremony site, standing in the aisle between the pews kissing. The way the sun is coming through in the photo is awesome! There is another one of me and two of the groomsmen dancing around Brett, making him uncomfortable; it cracks me up. Another one of the groomsmen fussing over Brett while the girls and bustling up my dress, as we are getting ready to make our entrances into the reception. I love this photo of my niece and me, me bending down and her kissing me on the cheek. I could go on and on describing my favorite photos, there are just so many great ones! The Westchester Wedding Planner,_6462 The Westchester Wedding Planner,_6471 The Westchester Wedding Planner,_6473 The Westchester Wedding Planner,_6477 The Westchester Wedding Planner,_6481 The Westchester Wedding Planner,_6482 The Westchester Wedding Planner,_6486 The Westchester Wedding Planner,_6487 The Westchester Wedding Planner,_6488 The Westchester Wedding Planner,_6489 The Westchester Wedding Planner,_6491The Westchester Wedding Planner,_6493The Westchester Wedding Planner,_6480The Westchester Wedding Planner,_6494The Westchester Wedding Planner,_6496The Westchester Wedding Planner,_6497The Westchester Wedding Planner,_6498The Westchester Wedding Planner,_6501The Westchester Wedding Planner,_6503The Westchester Wedding Planner,_6504The Westchester Wedding Planner,_6500The Westchester Wedding Planner,_6507The Westchester Wedding Planner,_6509Photographer: Lindley’s Photography | Event Venue: Indigo Falls Events | Submitted via Two Bright Lights
