Letter From The Publisher
When I started publishing The Westchester Wedding Planner a few years ago, I had a simple dream: to make wedding planning more creative and joyful for Westchester brides. As a photographer, I’d attended many beautiful weddings in New York City and its northern suburbs, and I built a database of ideas, venues and vendors that I was eager to share with everyone. Why not publish a beautiful magazine offering a curated selection of resources to help brides plan their big day without going crazy? After all, how hard could that be?
Since then, we’ve published five sumptuous issues of TWWP filled with real weddings, inspiring editorial, look-books, fabulous vendors, trending products and services, our own TWWP planning timeline and expense tracker and, of course, pages and pages of gorgeous photography. Our journey, like Dorothy’s in the Wizard of Oz, has been amazing and, as she said, “some of it wasn’t very nice. But most of it was beautiful.”
Now it’s time to say goodbye.
Once we accept our limits, we are freed go beyond them. Freed of the expense of printing and distributing a magazine, TWWP can now focus all our efforts on our increasingly successful Wedding Journal and grow our brand well beyond the local. This is our new journey, and we warmly invite you to join us on it. To our beloved family of advertisers, contributors, and readers — a million kisses for being part of the first chapter of the TWWP story.
