Belle Haven Club Wedding by Jessica Haley Photography
Summing up this little shindig in just a few words I’ll have to say that it is tradition meets casual meets nautical with the prettiest of color palettes. From the gorgeous dahlias, hydrangeas and roses to the Donna Morgan bridesmaid dresses, I am completely in love. Thank you, Jessica Haley for sending this Connecticut wedding our way! Happy Friday! From the photographer: I kicked off the fall wedding season photographing Jordan and Chris’ waterfront Connecticut wedding at the Belle Haven Club in Greenwich. This historic club sits in a picturesque inlet of the Long Island Sound and provided a stunning backdrop for this classic, waterfront event. The bride paired the nautical navy blue club decor with her mint green and soft blush pink and coral floral designs seamlessly. I loved how the color palette fitted right in with the shoreline setting without being overly trendy or theme-specific. The floral team mixed dahlias, hydrangeas, garden roses and peonies together for a full textured look. I couldn’t stop drooling over the blooms… especially the dahlias! Jordan’s cathedral length lace trimmed veil was the same veil her mother wore for her own wedding and the bridal bouquet was pinned with her grandmother’s diamond broach.
Chris and Jordan finally wed after a long 22-month engagement during which time the bride spent several months away in Texas for a job. The pair met through the bride’s older sister who was friends with the Chris. Their relationship blossomed after Jordan tagged along to hang out with her sister’s friends and quickly fell for Chris. Their wedding day was a long anticipated celebration of family, friends and tradition.
