Courtyard Wedding by Ryan Bethke Photography
A perfectly intimate gathering in a sweet little courtyard in sunny California was the order of the day. After years of a long-distance love affair becoming husband and wife was the most important thing to these two love birds. Nothing fancy, just close family, some friends, good food, fun and lots of love. Ryan Bethke shared this with us: After dating long distance (from Seattle to London) for almost three years, Amanda and Andrew were thrilled when Andrew finally got his fiance visa and arrived in the US. Just in time for their June 29th, 2014 wedding! With a lot of help from loved ones, they threw together their perfect little wedding in Pasadena, CA where Amanda’s family lives. With about forty of their closest family and friends cheering them on, they exchanged vows in Amanda’s grandmother’s beautiful flower-filled courtyard. After a champagne toast and some pictures, they headed down to Old Town Pasadena to the Kings Row Gastropub for the reception. Wedding favors included quarters for the jukebox and pinball machines, so it was bound to be a fun night! It was a beautiful evening filled with love, laughter, and plenty of delicious food and drinks.
