Beach Engagement Session by Lisa Elizabeth

I can’t get enough of all the beautiful proposal stories that regularly come through my desk. I especially love the ones where the groom makes it a family affair. Guys, take note, you might want to include her family in this unforgettable event. Thank you Lisa Elizabeth for sending us this sweet engagement session. The Westchester Wedding Planner,_3987From the photographer: Julia & Greg are from Boston and but opted for a Cape Cod sunset engagement session. We arrived at the boardwalk located in the town of Sandwich which is also near the beautiful Town Neck beach. With so many options, it’s really a location you can’t go wrong with. Cody, the dog, even got in on the action.

From the Bride-to-be: We met five and a half years ago on Nantucket over Figawi Weekend. This is an annual memorial day weekend tradition that we both had been going to for years. During an afternoon at slip 14, Greg saw me from across the bar and made a comment to his friends about the color of my eyes. He shyly stood back while one of his friends marched up to me and introduced himself. He then introduced Greg to me. From then on, we hit it off and had a blast getting to know each other. We parted ways after that weekend and stayed in touch over the phone throughout the summer. I lived on Cape Cod that summer and he lived on the north shore. Once Fall semester started, I returned to school and Greg stayed on the north shore working. In early September, he texted me on my birthday and asked me to go to a concert with him. We went to see the Zac Brown band and had an incredible night. We’ve been together ever since.

On out 5th anniversary, Greg surprised me by taking me to a beautiful Inn located in Chatham on the beach. When we arrived, we got ready early and decided to take a walk on the beach before dinner. We were admiring the gorgeous sunset and suddenly I realized Greg had gotten down on one knee! He popped the question! And of course I said Yes!! I was busy wiping tears when Greg told me to turn around and my sister and her boyfriend were running out from behind the dunes with a bottle of champagne and roses. I was so amazed and it just made me cry even more. We had an incredible night together celebrating the most special day thus far in our lives. The Westchester Wedding Planner,_3976 The Westchester Wedding Planner,_3983 The Westchester Wedding Planner,_3982 The Westchester Wedding Planner,_3981 The Westchester Wedding Planner,_3980 The Westchester Wedding Planner,_3979 The Westchester Wedding Planner,_3978 The Westchester Wedding Planner,_3977The Westchester Wedding Planner,_3984The Westchester Wedding Planner,_3986The Westchester Wedding Planner,_3985
