Bill Miller’s Castle Wedding By Airen Miller Photography

Rain on your wedding day? I don’t know about you, but I didn’t mind it on my wedding day. Sometimes a little rain can be an issue for your hair but if your hair is up then there’s nothing to worry about. For this bride and groom, a little drizzle on their special day just made for some beautiful photographs. So, don’t fret and have fun with it.The Westchester Wedding Planner,_4618FROM THE BRIDE: To choose a quote from a classic childhood favorite is perfect. “I knew when we met that an adventure was going to happen,” said Christopher Robin to Winnie the Pooh. That’s what our relationship has been. From the day we met, Rob has made me laugh and release my inner child every day. We both grew up in Westchester, New York but didn’t meet until the summer before my freshman year in college. We both went to Quinnipiac- I became a teacher and Rob director of sales at his company. We both were falling into careers and a life together that was perfect. We bought a house, took home a Chow Chow named Cooper and soon would begin our vision for our wedding. Or at least that’s what I thought. Rob knew we would get married one day but wanted to wait for the perfect moment- for nine years! Finally, one day after running an obstacle course in Boston (and almost breaking our necks) Rob played his best prank on my me yet- down on one knee at the restaurant. Instead of my dinner, the waiter brought over a beautiful engagement ring. On a silver platter!

FROM THE PHOTOGRAPHER: This wedding was stunning! Jaclyn & Rob rocked their 4th of July wedding in style and elegance, with fantastic details, some dramatic rain, and a special celebrity guest officiant! The day started at the Omni Hotel in New Haven where the ladies were anxious. Jaclyn’s dress was fabulous, and her Betsey Johnson pumps with ZIPPERS on the BACK shoes were to die for. The Guys were cool and collected, hanging out at the Omni bar, a perfect setting for the men. Jaclyn arrived at Bill Millers Castle by elegant coach trolly. The wedding ceremony was quite the scene, with Fox News Channel’s own “Logan Byrnes” officiating the ceremony. The rain didn’t stop us from capturing some stunning photos, some of my favorites are the umbrella shots, check them out!
