Coney Island Engagement by Candace Jeffery Photography
I love the fun this couple is having in Coney Island. With the weather warming up, I can’t wait to get there myself and ride the Ferris Wheel! Then head over to the games and win me a big old teddy bear. This session is super cute and so much fun! Thank you, Candice Jeffery Photography for sending this e-session our way.
From the Bride to be: How did he propose? Anthony arranged to go see DJ Tiesto in Washington DC; he rented the owners table right near the stage. Dj Tiesto produced the track and Christian Burns sang the vocals to our song “In the Dark”. Anthony didn’t tell me where we were going, only that we were going away with a few friends for my late birthday celebration. After arriving in DC and having dinner, we headed to the concert. I was so excited when I realized it was DJ Tiesto. Anthony has always gone out of his way to make everything he does for me extra special, so I had no idea. A few hours into the night our song comes on, and I turn to look for Anthony and he is on his knee and there is a huge crowd of people surrounding our VIP area. Prior to the concert Anthony recorded a video of our son with a shirt on that read, “I love Tiesto”. In the video our son asked Tiesto to make sure he played his mom and dad’s song, “In the dark” so that his daddy can propose to his mommy. He blocked my friends, family and myself on Twitter and tweeted this video to Tiesto. Many people saw the video. Especially people who were going to be at the concert and had VIP tables near us. The whole night there were people who knew it was going to happen and made sure to listen for our song. When Anthony proposed, I felt like a celebrity. People were yelling “Congratulations Anthony and Elisabeth!” and surrounding us taking pictures. It was one of the most memorable days of my life!
