tip 1 – Use a primer under your foundation to fill in pores and smooth out complexion under the foundation. Spray a clean brush blush with a makeup setting spray and lightly sweep over the face to set your makeup.

tip 2 – Choose a light to medium coverage foundation, so you have the option to build coverage in problem areas

tip 3 – Waterproof Mascara and Eyeliner are a must for weddings – I recommend a waterproof eye pencil in charcoal or brown to line the inner rim of the bottom lash line. Black looks a little harsh and can make the eyes appear smaller.

tip 4 – If you want your pick of stylists, Book your makeup trial as soon as you book your venue. Ideally, you should book your Makeup Artist 8-10 months in advance.Bridal Makeup, Meredith Hayman, Westchester Makeup Artisttip 5 – Bridal Trial – Think about the weather and your skin tone when scheduling your bridal makeup trial.  If you are getting married in July but have your trial in January, you may be a bit more pale, your skin may be a bit more dry, and your makeup may last a bit longer.  An experienced Makeup Artist will be able to address these issues and let you know their solutions for the day-of.  Wear a white or ivory shirt to your makeup trial so you can get an idea how the makeup will look with your bridal gown.  On the day of your Makeup Trial try to style your hair in a similar way to your wedding day. This is all to help you see as much of the complete look as possible.
