From the Bride: Jacob and I live in New Zealand. We’re originally from England, so arranging a wedding from such a long distance was not an easy feat. We wanted an original wedding that wasn’t scripted, overly arranged, or too formal. We also wanted an event that would enable everyone to come together from around the world in a relaxed and loving atmosphere. Our guests travelled from far and wide: France, England, Canada, New Zealand, Australia, and Germany. It was so wonderful having them all there in one place to celebrate the wedding. Luckily, we were able to use a beautiful early 1900s house, owned by Jacob’s aunt in the town of New London. The food was delicious; we had polenta, stuffed mushrooms and chicken, and the red velvet wedding cake at the end was delicious! We wouldn’t change a thing; it was perfect!
