Fall is definitely one of our most favorite of all seasons. With the leaves changing color and the cool, brisk air, Elizabeth and Bryan’s fall wedding is nothing if not warm and cozy. As the bride and groom walk beneath the brightly colored trees sharing giggles and kisses, the day unfolds beautifully.

From the Bride: What were the highlights of the day and why? The whole day was wonderful! The wedding ceremony was very special – we spent a lot of time picking meaningful songs, readings, and participants. Having all our family and friends together in one place to celebrate with us is also what made our day so wonderful. My grandparents were too ill to travel to the wedding, but I had the rosary that my grandmother carried during her own wedding in the 1940s wrapped around the base of my bouquet, which was very special to me. I also had my great grandmother’s handkerchief, which I pinned to the inside of my dress, as my “something old.”

What would be your best advice for a bride planning her wedding? I would tell her first to take a few days to enjoy just being engaged! Then I’d suggest she and her fiance agree on a few things that will have a big impact on when and where they get married (the wedding budget, the size of the guest list, etc.) Finally, I would say to try to decide ahead of time the things you care most about, and let the other things go as much as possible.Why did you choose your venue? I immediately fell in love with the venue. The main room has floor-to-ceiling glass windows which allowed our guests a view of the beautiful Fall foliage during the late afternoon hours. The grounds of our venue also provided an amazing background for our wedding photos.
