We’ve had our fair share of lovely brides grace the pages of TWWP, and we’re thrilled to see one more beauty grace this page today. This beautiful bride, brilliantly photographed by Kelly Cronin, is wearing the gorgeous Penelope gown designed by Watters (and available at BHLDN) as well as the Honeysuckle Halo headpiece from BHLDN. Her handsome groom is very dapper in a Brooks Brother suit. Talk about a stylish couple.From the bride: Mike and Adrienne got engaged just before Christmas, and while they were spending Christmas with their respective families–their last Christmas apart–Adrienne called CBI on a whim to see if they could accommodate a spring wedding. When she learned that the Boat House was available on May 2, everything else just fell into place. More than anything, Mike and Adrienne wanted the wedding to be fun and stress-free for every attendee. They kept the guest list small–just immediate family and the friends who would have been in the bridal party had they held a larger wedding. Every guest received a pie from Chatham mainstay Marion’s Pie Shop, with a personal note from the bride and groom. Keeping with the stress-free, fun theme, Mike and Adrienne never ended up committing to a rigid color scheme, and instead the wedding was accentuated with a variety of soft pinks, purples, and blues. Adrienne and maid of honor Kim’s flowers were white and pink peonies–the bride’s favorite flower. While the decor was mostly classic and classy thanks to CBI, the couple insisted on having the animals of the family represented through cake toppers made by the bride.

The day of the wedding, the ladies joined Adrienne in CBI’s beautiful Ocean Spray cottage to get ready, and the boys had a bourbon with Mike in the illustrious Room 3 in the Main Inn. The ceremony was held on the CBI Boat House lawn, with cocktails, dinner, and dancing inside. When guests tired of dancing, they headed outside to the bonfire, encircled by Adirondack chairs and supplied with all the s’mores fixins the guests could eat. It was the perfect way to end a perfect night.
