Puerto Vallarta Wedding by NeriPhoto

I love destinations weddings especially beach weddings, and this one is no exception. As I look through all the images so beautifully captured by NeriPhoto, I’m dipping my proverbial toes into the water, feeling the warm sun on my skin and wishing my hair didn’t soak up all the humidity. This cute couple’s love of travel brought them to Playa Fiesta Hotel for their “I Dos.” I say, excellent choice! From the photographer: Charlie & Miranda met at Vanderbilt University in 2005. Miranda was a freshman and Charlie was a junior. She was working as a cashier at the dining hall when Charlie decided to approach her while speaking Spanish. Eight years later, he proposed to Miranda in Switzerland. Miranda was REALLY caught by surprise because they were supposed to be meeting in Italy a few days later. He had planned everything behind her back. When she entered the apartment that evening, there were candles everywhere, candles forming a heart on the floor, and inside the heart more candles spelling “Marry me?” They were living abroad at the time, so they chose a destination wedding to be able to spend more time with loved ones. They searched online a ton and eventually stumbled upon Hotel Playa Fiesta in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. With the idea of having an intimate, personalized celebration and the excellent reviews they were sold on the place! They incorporated their Latino roots into the celebration (e.g. Men’s guayabera shirts, Latin dancing, and more). The choice of venue and location is one of the best decisions they’ve ever made… it was an incredible week they will always remember!
